The Archbishop of York has invited Bishop Glyn to preside at a Chrism Mass for traditionalist clergy, primarily but by no means exclusively in the Diocese of York.  The service will take place on Holy Monday, 14th April, 1200 noon, at St Paul’s North Thornaby, by kind permission of Father Harry Hopkins, parish priest.  The Archbishop will preach.  The invitation is to all clergy and laity.  Should you wish to attend, it would be helpful for you to inform the Bishop of Beverley’s office, so that we have an idea of numbers.  The Holy Oils will be available immediately following the service.

Bishop Glyn will also preach at the Chrism Eucharist at York Minster at 11am on Maundy Thursday (17 April 2014)

The Bishop of Pontefract will be celebrating the following Chrism Mass:

Monday 14th April

7.30pm

S Peter, Barnsley
